The Minister for Business and Expertise in the Government of Catalonia visits Lamp Lighting
Today we had the pleasure of receiving a visit from the Honourable Mr. Jordi Baiget, Minister for Business and Expertise in the Government of Catalonia and from Ms. Núria Betriu, Director General of Industry and Managing Director of ACCIÓ.
Our Chief Executive, Ignasi Cusidó, together with another member of the company's executive held a meeting with them to bring them up to date with the current situation of the company and to impart the values which define us. On the one hand, internationalisation as a value for bringing us closer to our clients wherever they may be, of which the latest example is the opening of the new Lamp Lighting office in Australia. Also our new industrial tradition and roots in Terrassa, a driver of industry in Catalonia and the flexibility which allows us to provide bespoke solutions whatever the project or need may be, such as the ports on the River Seine in Paris near the Eiffel Tower, one of our most recent projects which we have carried out. Finally, our strong commitment to design and engineering, and our sensitivity for light, which apart from being obvious from the Lamp Lighting Solutions Prizes and other partnerships with associations, universities, etc. linked to the lighting world, is also patently clear thanks to our involvement in the Venice Biennale and our collaboration with the Institut Ramon Llull, lighting the pavilion of Catalonia which was fittingly inaugurated yesterday.
After this meeting, the Honourable Mr. Jordi Baiget and Ms. Núria Betriu expressed an interested in visiting our facilities. This led to us showing them our offices and the factory, explaining to them the processes which are followed in each place. We showed them the industrial transformation of the plant owing to the shift that LED technology is causing and they were also able to see and touch some of our innovative products which were only released a couple of months ago in the Light + Building trade exhibition in Frankfurt.
We hope to see them again very soon! Thanks for stopping by :)
