We have renewed our EcoVadis Gold rating

Apr 10 2024

Three years after first receiving the classification, Lamp has once again been recognized by EcoVadis, placing us in the top 3% of companies with the best performance in sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Reflecting our ongoing and strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, we at Lamp have renewed our Gold rating for another year. This recognition, awarded for the third consecutive year since the first concession in 2021, is accompanied by an improvement of 16 points in the Scorecard compared to the 2022 assessment, with notable progress in environmental and human rights practices.

EcoVadis is considered one of the most reliable and comprehensive corporate sustainability rankings in the world, ranking around 100,000 companies in more than 160 countries.

All the actions and progress we are making at Lamp in terms of sustainability, from a triple impact perspective, are a reflection of the continuous improvement carried out within the framework of our strategic line "Worktitude For Life"

"The fact that an organization of the prestige and rigor of EcoVadis has once again awarded us its Gold classification reinforces and encourages us in the direction in which we have been working for years. Under the umbrella of our strategic line #WorktitudeForLife, at Lamp we strive to have a positive impact on our environment by reducing the environmental footprint in the design of our luminaires, generating responsible and ethical synergies at a social level, and providing realistic and efficient lighting solutions that improve people's well-being and daily lives,", explains David Testar, Lamp's Operations Director and member of the Sustainability Committee.

The EcoVadis assessment methodology, which examines how effectively we integrate sustainability and CSR principles, is based on recognized international standards such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), UN Global Compact and ISO 26000. The assessment focuses on around twenty criteria grouped into four key categories: environment, labor practices and human rights, ethics, and sustainable sourcing.

"At Lamp we have a spirit of continuous improvement and in this endeavor, with the roadmap that EcoVadis also recommends, we continue to work every day with a clear objective: that the activity derived from the management of our company contributes to society and the environment", adds Ignasi Cusidó, CEO of Lamp.
