Lamp at the 16th International Exhibition of Architecture at La Biennale di Venezia
Once again this year, Lamp will be present at La Biennale di Venezia thanks to the company's collaboration with the Institut Ramon Llull. We will have a clear presence in the Catalan pavilion and in the Central pavilion, from the 26th of May to the 25th of November, 2018.
Our participation in the Catalan pavilion has been brought to life with our own lighting, as we have provided linear profiles with LED technology to illuminate this space. In this pavilion, designed by RCR and co-commissioned by Pati Núñez and Estel Ortega, the Institut Ramon Llull presents "RCR. Dream and Nature_Catalonia in Venice", a project on RCR Arquitectos, Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2017, within the framework of the Eventi Collaterali of the Biennale di Venezia. The lighting design of the space has been prepared by Maurici Ginés.
In the words of RCR Arquitectes: "In Venice we will present our dream, unknown and unpublished up until now. It's a key moment in the development of this project, and it's through architecture that the birth of a utopia under construction that unveils our interior world is being represented." The intention is that "those who visit the space at the Biennale will feel an immense draw to get to know La Vila and to perceive the force of nature, a force that can change you. Our aim is that entering into The Dream becomes a highly sensorial experience."
On the other hand, in the Central pavilion, where the area belongs to Grafton Architects, Lamp has worked with Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos, who are displaying some of their work.
