Interplays of color, light and architecture in "The memory of the mirror" at Llum BCN

Mar 7 2014 00:00:00

On the nights of February 7th, 8th and 9th, the city of Barcelona became a huge stage where light was the star of the show thanks to the urban festival Llum BCN.

A light installation route in different buildings and emblematic places transformed the city of Barcelona, lending it a touch of magic. Of all the installations we were lucky to be able to collaborate on "The memory of the mirror" by the collective Lupercales which took place at Sant Agustí Convent.

Assuming the mirror as the main element, Lupercales uses it on its installation to generate a different vision of the urban space, reflecting on the already existing parts of the place and managing to create a series of abstract, geometric images that blend colour, light and architecture.

We would recommend seeing the work of Lupercales group that strives to reactivate the urban space and make street lighting interactive and fun as well as efficient.
