Lamp Lighting Solutions Awards '13 record participation: 608 projects from 52 different countries
This successful outcome in its fifth edition evidences the international consolidation of these awards in the world of lighting.
The 608 projects received are divided into the following four categories: Architectural Outdoor Lighting with a total of 108 projects submitted, with 236 Indoor Lighting, Urban and Landscape Lighting with 95 and with 169 Students Proposals.
Of the 52 countries, those which have more projects submitted in order of highest to lowest are: Spain, Germany, France, UK, Mexico, Italy, USA, China, Chile, Argentina and Singapore. In addition, this year we welcome 11 new countries that for the first time enter the competition: Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Egypt, Slovakia, Indonesia, Lebanon, Macedonia, Nigeria and Poland.
The prestigious awards Jury met on Thursday February 21st to select the projects that pass to the next stage. If you are interested in knowing the projects that have moved into the next stage take a look on our Lamp Lighting Solutions Awards Facebook.
During the month of March, the Jury will meet again to deliberate and determine four to five finalists per category. The final verdict will be announced at an event held in the city of Barcelona during the month of June, where we will reward each of them with the following contributions: Architectural Outdoor Lighting 15.000€, Indoor Lighting 15.000€, Urban and Landscape Lighting 15.000€, and Students Proposals 3.000€. With all the finalists we will publish the book LIGHTING CONCEPTS 2013.
