Awards ceremony '09

On June 18th was held in the auditorium of the Biomedical Research Park of Barcelona, the ceremony of the second edition of the Lamp Lighting Solutions Awards 2009. The event, hosted by the renowned journalist Mari Pau Huguet, also told the paper "In the background is lighter. Challenges and lighting design expectations" by the renowned lighting designer, Ignacio Valero.
Throughout the evening, attended by numerous personalities and professional of culture and architecture who does not want to miss the ceremony of the awards that are consolidated within the sector, as evidenced by the figure of 338 projects presented in this edition. The award ceremony was chaired by Hon. Mr. Josep Huguet i Biosca, Regional Minister for Innovation, Universities and Enterprise of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Lamp Lighting Solutions Awards 2009 are equipped with a total of EUR 30,000 divided into four categories:
EXTERIOR ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING
1st prize: 6000 €
Departamentos de Pescadores en Cangas de Irisarri-Piñera.
INTERIOR LIGHTING
1st prize: 6000 €
Joyería D de Antonio Vaillo, Juan Luis Irigaray y Daniel Galar de Vaillo&Irigaray, y Antón Amann de Architectural Lighting Solutions ALS.
URBAN AND LANDSCAPE LIGHTING
1st prize: 6000 €
Exposición XII Premios de Arquitectura de Girona de Mayo Group.
STUDENTS PROPOSALS
1st prize: 3000 €
Light Paths de Laura Gil
Finally, also granted 1st Lamp Lighting Solutions Award as overall winner of the four categories, with a cash prize of 9000 €, which are added to the prize and received:

These awards are a way of supporting the profession of "lighting designer" (specialist consultants in lighting projects), and young students of the sector.
