Once again with Catalan architecture at Biennale di Venezia

May 10 2016 00:00:00

The Catalonia pavilion at the Biennale di Venezia has once again had the support of Lamp Lighting :) Thanks to the Institut Ramon Llull for giving us this opportunity again!

This year, the Institut Ramon Llull has presented the sideshow Aftermath_ Catalonia in Venice. Architecture beyond architects in the time frame of the 15th International Architecture Exhibition which the curator has titled Reporting from the Front. The curators of the project are the architects Jaume Prat, Jelena Prokopljević and the film director Isaki Lacuesta. By means of audio-visual installations, seven public architectural actions have been singled out. They have been selected as virtuoso examples of architecture which improves the user's relationships with their urban, social, and natural surroundings.

The purpose of the project is to provoke a reaction among the public and give them some food for though. And if there's a project like that happening, we have to be there! And here at Lamp Lighting we are so proud of our architects and completely convinced that we have to show our architecture to the world. What better place for this than the Biennale di Venezia? What's more, it doesn't end here! After the conclusion of the Biennale in November, you will find the exhibition at the Arts Santa Mònica in Barcelona from January to April 2017.
