LAMP’s New China Factory Inauguration

LAMP, a technical architectural manufacturer lighting company, has recently inaugurated the new LAMP CHINA installations in Foshan City (Guangdong). The ceremony has been chaired by LAMP’s president Ignasi Cusidó Simon, together with CEO Ignasi Cusidó Codina and LAMP CHINA director, Ivan Jimenez.
Back in 2008, LAMP opened a commercial office in Thailand to deal with the countries in South-East Asia, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and many others. Two years later, due to the successful implementation and with the objective of attending the recently increasing lighting demand in Asiatic countries such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea, LAMP establishes in China to get closer to clients and offer them a more personalized service.
The new LAMP corporation in China, Foshan City Lamp Lighting Co. Ltd., counts with 2.000m² installations and an initial staff of 20 employees distributed between R+D+i, product department and commercial department. The new factory strengthens LAMPs strategy of being a reference brand in technical architectural lighting sector worldwide.
LAMP is a Catalan family company with strong presence in the Spanish market and one of the leading companies in the technical-architectural lighting sector. Internationally, LAMP exports 40% of its sales volume to main destinations as European countries, followed by South America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
