Don't miss the novelties we've got ready for L+B 2018!

Mar 8 2018 00:00:00

The last edition of Light+Building was fantastic but, as always, at Lamp we have been working hard to best ourselves once again for several months now. And as a taster of this, we can tell you that this year we have changed location and moved to a bigger space! We will still be in Hall 3.1 but at a new booth, C61.

This year, we can also tell you that, for a change, we will not be focusing so much on the product itself, but on the lighting application to emphasise the importance of good lighting.

We will highlight three different segments, and within these we will present a range of products to demonstrate various ways of illuminating the same space with different products, depending on which aspects are being enhanced. These segments will be as follows:

Architectural Lighting: in this case, the lighting concepts to be explained will address how light can affect architectural spaces outside. In this segment, apart from presenting Gap, Bazz and Bauline, we will also present our new LUP range, which consists of a new downlight and a new outdoor wall lamp. Coming in two different sizes for each application, this range includes super spot, medium flood and asymmetric optics.

Hospitality: in this segment, the lighting concepts that will be explained will include how to generate contrasts, how to signpost and how to integrate lighting into interior design. Our Mun Dark and Mun Light, Moody and Trace ranges will all be located here, as will a new range consisting of a new linear system and a new downlight: OCULT system and OCULT downlight. The modular structure can be suspended, mounted on a surface or recessed. The downlight, pendulum luminaires and projectors can be integrated into this.

Retail: in this third area, the lighting concepts to be explained will cover both commercial retail (angle of aperture and CRI/colour temperature) and boutique HORECA (more focused on miniaturisation, integration and finishing). In this segment, we will present a broad range that can cover all retail needs with the same formal language. We are talking about HANCE, a new range of accent applications consisting of projectors and downlights. With a design based on integrating into spaces, it is characterised by its broad range and application.

And all this at a stand that, for the third consecutive time, is designed by our friends at lagranja design :)

In this space, we will also carry out the #TouchTheLight activity being prepared by Maria Güell Ordis of La Invisible Lighting Design Studio. From Monday to Wednesday (both included) from 4.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., we will meet one or two members of the upcoming panel of judges for the 2019 Lamp Awards who, together with their "team" of professional colleagues, will take part in this workshop. We encourage you all to come and take part with them in this activity that is sure to be a success!

Finally, to round off a week that is sure to be incredibly intense, you can't miss LATAM in the afternoon! On Wednesday 21, apart from holding the #TouchTheLight activity, at 3.30 p.m., our friends from EILD will be talking more about their next event in Uruguay and the traditional #LightsBeers by Iluminet will be held for the third consecutive year at 4.00 p.m.

Don't miss out! And remember, we look forward to meeting you in Hall 3.1, booth C61.
